Vision Statement

We envisage a world where women live free of pelvic floor trauma, without the humiliation and shame associated with prolapse of their genitourinary organs, urinary and faecal incontinence and fistulas as a result of birth trauma.

We want women to be able to exercise their reproductive rights when and with whom they choose and we want to encourage men to support women to be able to do so.

•  Prevent and treat pelvic floor trauma in women living in the developing world
• Train doctors in developing countries in crucial surgical techniques to manage pelvic floor trauma
• Educate women and empower women to the understand that pelvic floor trauma is not a necessary part of childbirth and can be treated
• Provide medical equipment to the trained doctors in the respective countries to assist in achieving the above outcomes
